Go Green - 1/14/10 - Over 70% of Gibson’s students receive an e-TF! 2/18/10 - The Linn County Solid Waste Agency has a Home and Business Recycling Companion on their website. This is full of information about what items are accepted at the landfill, what can be recycled at no cost, and suggestions for reducing waste and reusing items. They have information on area businesses and organizations who will accept items; for example, Habitat for Humanity’s Restore will accept items in working condition such as doors, sinks, lighting, and more. Check it out! 2/25/10 - Due to the efforts to reduce waste here at Viola Gibson, City Carton is coming to empty recycling bins every three or four weeks instead of every two weeks.
